Every great story has a beginning, and mine started with a simple disposable Kodak camera. I was always the one at parties capturing the fun, freezing laughter and love in a single frame. But it wasn’t until I started photographing my daughters that I truly discovered my passion for photography. What began as a way to document their childhood quickly turned into a passion for capturing life’s most precious, fleeting moments.

In 2009, that passion grew into Sweet Pickle Photography, a business built from the ground up with love, determination, and a deep appreciation for storytelling through images. Like many new business owners, I faced the struggles of learning how to turn my vision into a sustainable business.

My journey wasn’t without challenges. Learning how to run a business while balancing motherhood was no easy feat. There were obstacles—especially moments of doubt—but through perseverance and a relentless passion for storytelling, I built Sweet Pickle Photography into what it is today: a business dedicated to building relationships through capturing the beauty of real-life moments with authenticity and warmth.
